Kiss you good-bye and know the countdown begins
till the next time I'm in your arms: with you again.
Close the door, wave good night, etch your face in my brain.
my makeup is melting; I'm soaked in spring rain,
yet I stand in the night and pray to our Father
Thank Him, pray keep you, may He bless us together.
Seconds turn to days; my poor memory melts your face.
Still, I feel you so near. My heart can't help but race
at the thought of this countdown. Oh! May the days peel away
till we are together: Yo comprende, mi el Tigre.
Though I miss you, I'll see you when this countdown is done
Until then, my heart's ticking for it knows you're the one.
